About the Institute
|
| Under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of Uttrakhand GIHM was
setup in the year 1982 to provide students with the best possible
opportunity to acquire relevant, up to date knowledge of the
subject area of hotel and tourism management and to develop skills
appropriate to their present and future needs. |
| The institute was conducting a 3 years diploma in hotel
management and catering till 2006 and has introduced a 4 years
Bachelor Course in Hotel Management since 2007 which is affiliated to
Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and approved by All
India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under Ministry of
HRD, Goverment of India. |
GIHM is rated as one of the oldest and the best
institute not only of Uttarakhand but entire north India, as we
understand the student’s requirements and we design optimal
solutions to meet those requirements. It provides an edge to the
students studying here resulting in par excellence.
GIHM is one of the oldest institute of north India and has
produced corporate managers, general mangers, executive chefs,
directors, principals / directors of hotel management colleges and
entrepreneurs. |
